Roma (Gypsies) originated from the Punjab region of Northern India.  Nomadic people, they travelled to Europe between the 8th & 10th centuries C.E.

The term “gypsies” was used by Europeans to describe these peoples, as they mistakenly believed they came from Egypt. (Now a derogatory term)

The incredibly rich and romantic history of the Romani people tells of fortune telling, shamnism and magic.

Join us as we honour the Romani and learn popular fortune telling techniques.

Learn and practice how to ‘dukker’ to predict your ‘bocht’.

The class will include: –

– Introduction to Palmistry

– Tea leaf reading

– Reading gypsy cards

– Introduction to Psychometry

– Scrying (crystal ball gazing)

– Pendulums (dousing)

– Discussion on other ancient ways of dukkering

Enjoy exotic teas and traditional sweets in a small group. Covid restrictions set by Government standards will be observed.
